There are several Field's Fabrics stores throughout MI. I went to the one in Holland, MI on my summer vacation. They had a great variety from quilting cottons to fashion fabrics and home dec. They had more traditional fabrics as well as lots of contemporary ones. Sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They had some really well-priced bargain tables with fabrics from $3-5 a yard. The one in Holland has a special section with supplies for making Dutch style costumes. They also sell Babylock machines and accessories. I'd definitely recommend a trip to one if you're in the area.
