Pattern Description
new ironing board cover
Which view and size did you make?
N/a
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
If not, why?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes they were great
If not, why?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like how she recommends you iron your fabric before you destroy the old cover
Fabric used
quilting cotton and 2 layers of cotton batting
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I added 3" around to my pattern and made a casing with bias tape. It took forever to thread my casing with elastic so next time I will try the foe method in the tutorial. It is also a bit bunchy.
Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes,
Would you recommend this pattern to others?
yes
Any additional comments
I think 2 layers of cotton batting worked great as the padding. I did not attach them to my cover.
