3/2011 #13 Pirate Bermudas Pattern Description
Colorblocked bermuda shorts Which view and size did you make?
sz 86 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No If not, why?
altered to have a ribbed waistband Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
- What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like that the piecing on the legs adds interest, and Duncan likes that the pockets are easy to get his hands in! Fabric used
twill/denim Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I left off the pocket flaps, just because I preferred the way they looked without, and added a ribbed waistband with elastic, because I find that style waist fits my skinny toddler better. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
This is a very straightforward shorts pattern- would be good for boys or girls, depending on fabric choices. Did you SNS what you made from this pattern? If so, add a link to your SNS here.
