Cute pattern. I do wish I had used ric rac as called for rather than piping, but I'll try that next time.
Oh, and I didn't know what the little elastic casing and sew on fasteners on the inner skirt part were supposed to be about. I just gathered both parts and sewed them down together to the yoke.

I'm trying to figure out the snaps right now too, plus I basically have two skirts, so two gathered waistbands that could be skirts on their own. are they supposed to somehow morph into one? or are the snaps there to hold the two skirts together? seems a bit bulky up there to me...
