Pattern Description:
Misses loose-fitting pullover tops (peasant tops)
Pattern Sizing:
XS(4-6) - XXL(24-26)
not sure on fit as my daughter is smaller than the smallest size and I modified it - it's big on her but I expected that. It looks forgiving though, size-wise.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
not really because I modified it
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Extremely!!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It had a simple shape that lends itself to modifications easily
Fabric Used:
muslin
Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made:
I made view B but lengthened to mid-calf and lengthened the sleeves to past the elbow (forearm) in order to use as an 1740s Spanish Colonial chemise. I also used ribbon drawstrings instead of elastic in the neck and sleeves and I hand-sewed eyelets on the inside of the casings to accommodate that.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
yes on both counts! I plan to make it again as a blouse for my daughter and also as a nightgown for her. Might even try it for myself.
SnS coming tomorrow - my model is asleep
