A very belated birthday gift. Really liked the pattern, will try and make it in 98 for my girls. And in a woven, the pattern is definately better suited for a woven fabric.

Defied instructions, and made this in a mid weight knit. Turned out quite nicely, the elastic in a casing keeps the shirring in check. I think this has great potential to be a pinafore this fall/winter, and a tank/tunic come spring/summer.

I made a 62, and it fit fine, even though she is really only a 56. It was definitely 'dress like' at this point. I appreciate that in a knit at least, it will fit several size ranges at this point.
