I used a 140 width with 146 length. Pattern was great and my DD loves the fit and length. I made slight modifications with the bottom piece. I cut the hem on a fold and put ties cut from the baby dress in the 2/2005 issue in the side seams. I wanted little bows on the sides. DD just turned 8 last week and loves her new capris!

I also added more topstitching to make the shorts more jeans like. I topstitched the crotch seam and inside leg seams.
