fabric.com Nancy Dress Pattern Description
Knit strapless dress/top or skirt with yoga-style waistband Which view and size did you make?
Size small, as a skirt Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
No If not, why?
The waistband of the skirt, or what would be the bodice of a dress, was way too small to make this practical as a dress/top. The instructions claim the pattern only requires one yard, but I don't see how one yard would give enough fabric for anything other than a skirt. Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
Once the "one yard isn't enough!" hurdle is overcome/disregarded, the skirt is easy to put together. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
See above about one yard not really being enough. But it is a free pattern (good!) and easy to make (also good!) and turns out to be a pretty cute skirt (good!). Fabric used
nylon blend something or other from fabric.com Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
If I do this again (and I probably will if I can find a fabric I like), I won't use fabric with this slippery-ish texture. And if you plan to make this as a top or dress, you will almost certainly need more than a yard Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
