4111 Pattern Description
Empire waist top for wovens, 3/4 or long sleeve, small nonfunctional button placket at top, ties or no ties at waist. Which view and size did you make?
View B, no ties. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
- Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
Easy to follow but be careful on applying the front placket piece; the photo is wrong. If you do it according to the photo the raw end of the neck binding will show. You have to reverse those (front placket sewn first, then neck binding on top of it so when you flip them they will be correct order). What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I wanted to try the styling. I love the neck treatment (no exposed seams). It really isn't an ideal pattern for me though as it looks better on smaller busted women. Fabric used
Super thin gauze. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
- Would you sew this pattern again?
No Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
