Ulla Pattern Description
Shirt for girls or women. Has long and short sleeves, puff sleeves, round neck, v-neck, gathered front, flat front, and "bubble" lower bodice variations. Which view and size did you make?
V-neck with short puff sleeves and round neck with long puff sleeves, size 40/42 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
- Were the instructions easy to follow?
No If not, why?
The directions were unclear due to translation problems, I think. Luckily, it is a very simple pattern, and an experienced sewist would be fine. But I would not recommend this for someone who was not already proficient in shirt construction, as you really have to figure it out yourself. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I absolutely love how it fits. I love the flare of it. It is unusually long -- like a long tunic or a short dress, but I really like that. Fabric used
Interlock for one, jersey for another Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
The long sleeves have a sort of bell shape at the wrists. If you don't like this look, you might want to straighten that out. I bound the lower edges, and it really accentuated that shape. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
This is my favorite pattern for me, ever! Did you SNS what you made from this pattern? If so, add a link to your SNS here.
