1. Cut the binding strip and then sew it to form a tube.
2. Sew the shoulder seams for the front and back piece.
3. Serge/sew the binding(right side) on the wrong side of the tshirt.

next, fold it down, align the top edge of the binding to the top edge of the serged neckline, then fold down to close the seam. i find this way, it gives me perfect binding sizing all around. make sense? on my SM, i have a 4.0/90 twin needle. stitch length is 2.5 and pressure foot tension is 1 (on my machine is 0-3, 3 being for woven).

using my pressure feet as a guide, i sew it all around, go slowly if needed.
