I have to say that I'm really impressed. The fit on DD couldn't be better and they go together so nicely. For this I used the last of my PRR corduroy and some killington flannel. I made the soaker a separate piece that snaps on rather than sewing it into the inside to reduce the drying time. When we need more diapers, I'll be making this pattern.
I didn't bother reading the pattern directions with respects to the elastic lengths. I just tacked the elastic down on one end and stretched it as much as possible while sewing down and then when I got to where the elastic was to end, I just stopped and cut it off. So, I can't speak to that part of the pattern.

I like this diaper pattern a lot! Very easy to put together, especially if you have sewn diapers before. Basic turn and topstitch. I added a little bit of length on the tabs because I opted for snaps rather than hook and loop tape.
Fits Tristan really well, I traced the 62/68 size and he is about 6 months old and around 17 lbs or so. It will fit for a while I think.
I did my soaker a lay in style and a little different than the ottobre one. I traced it, but it looked very big in my opinion, so I opted for a tried and true one.
Outer layer PUL, hidden velour and inner of microfleece. I will definitely sew this one again very soon!
