My skirt looks nothing like the one in the magazine! I omitted the pockets and didn't use linen. I used a bottonweight from JA's that has a touch of sheen to it. I adore this skirt. I cut a 46, a bit big in the waist but perfect in the hips. I like the fitted shape and it was seriously easy to put together. I did the back vent a little different than the directions though.
