I made two of these for DD and her friend (and doll versions). I made modifications in terms of where I cut the bodice and added a ruffle to the skirt. But the basic pattern was fine. A peasant-type pattern, with cute cap sleeves. There's a shirt in this issue as well, using some of the same pattern pieces.

Size 92 for my 3yo with 6 inches added to the length of the skirt!! The fabric is an embroidered rayon/linen. She gets a lot of compliments on this dress.

I modified this by shortening the bodice a bit, and then instead of using the given skirt pattern, I did two tiers of rectangles, each 1.5 times the width of the previous tier/bodice. I love it this way and can see myself making several more. My daughter is quite happy with the twirl factor.
