I love this pattern especially with shoulder snaps rather than a back zipper. I just added 1.5 inches to the shoulder seam to make a snap placket. I think the pattern runs a little small, so I ended up making a size bigger for my ds after the first one, and it fit perfectly.

I too, used snaps at the shoulder rather than using a zipper up the back. I mean, a zipper in the back of a knit baby romper. I didn't want any part of that. :) These are very quick to sew.
