sewn with commander fabric outer (windproof,water resistant) and 13oz quilted nylon inner. this is crazy winter weight. i shorten it, omit the princess seam and added an outer pocket. the trims on the front is actually a pocket piece (where i have my hands in it). i do not like the hood at all, i actually hate it. it has this very strange cone shape to it, so i think a hood with a centre piece is probably a better idea. but other than that, pretty straightforward and easy coat to sew.
