My 9.5 year old loved the way it looked in the magazine, so I had to make one. I thought the pattern pieces looked a little TOO mini when I traced them, so I added an inch & a half to the length. Once sewn up, the skirt fit really well across the hips/butt, but it gapes at the waist.

Not meant for girls with curves without pattern adjusting.

I so wish I would have read the review of this pattern before I made it! The skirt is soooooo mini! I added several inches. I guess I am not ready for my baby to wear a mini skirt!! :) Also the waist is very gappy. I had to add elastic in the back and it still kind of gaps.
