2989 PR Toddler/Childs Dresses Pattern Description
Sweet, adorable, full skirt, twirly dresses. 2 short sleeved and three sleeveless. Which view and size did you make?
the halter with bow, size five. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
- Were the instructions easy to follow?
No If not, why?
This a Project Runway pattern so the instructions are not that great. If you have sewing knowledge then you should be okay. The instructions for the skirt and the slip are confusing and attaching the ruffle could be better. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I didn't like the instructions. There is a tulle ruffle that is to be attached on the slip to give the skirt fullness but it is awkward to attach if you follow their instructions. Fabric used
Lightweight quilters cotton Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I didn't add the ruffle and shortend the slip by an inch. Will try the ruffle using a different weight of tulle. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
Very sweet and girly daughter would wear it everyday.
