6646 (early 1970s) Pattern Description
This pattern includes: toddler's playsuit with buttoning shoulder, snap crotch and sailboat applique; reversible cover-up with a hood, short sleeves and braid trim; shorts with elastic waist and button trim. Which view and size did you make?
playsuit and cover-up in size 1. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

The simple charm, and how quick it worked up. Fabric used
The playsuit was sewn in quilters cotton, the cover-up was sewn with cotton velour. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
The playsuit:
-added two inches to the length, at the chest
-used twill tape instead of bias tape for the snap facings on the crotch
-didn't use the applique
-took ten inches off the elastic recommendation for each leg
The cover-up:
-didn't line it, so mine isn't reversible Would you sew this pattern again?

Both pieces turned out adorable! Dd definitely needs more of the playsuit this summer, and the cover-up may be the cutest ever.
