Amy S. 6208 Pattern Description
Long women's hoodie, with pocket. Which view and size did you make?
Size 34 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
- Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
- What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The hood seems extra long, and never fits me quite like the model. Other than that, I like the pattern and have also used it as a base pattern to modify. Fabric used
1. Kumquat Sweater Knit, 2. Cotton Velour Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
I always forget to shorten the hood - I'd suggest that it be tried on before the binding is sewn on the neck/hood. On my 2nd version of this, I added binding to the pocket openings - they seemed to be missing something the first time. I also found the sleeves to be quite long, but I think that is the style of the pattern. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
