PatternsPattern Manufacturer/Name/Number
Simplicity 5118 Pattern Description
Peasant style top/dress Which view and size did you make?
I believe it was view B/D Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes If not, why?
- Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes If not, why?
- What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The pattern was really simple and straight forward. I really like the finished product.
I didn't like the last step-making the casing around the neckline because the the seams with the bias tape were so thick. Fabric used
light weight woven Pattern alterations or any design changes you made or would recommend
When I make the dress again, I will stop the bias tape short of the edge...where it will just be covered by the casing.
I also didn't put the ribbon around the front or add the bow. Would you sew this pattern again?
Yes Would you recommend this pattern to others?
Yes Any additional comments
I believe that the pattern may be out of print.
